Enriching Our Community Through the Arts
The arts have the power to bring people together, spark imagination, and transform a community. For more than 50 years, the Dubuque Arts Council has worked to share that power with the Tri-State area by bringing world-class performers into classrooms, creating opportunities for students to experience the arts firsthand, and offering free public concerts that unite audiences of all ages. By partnering with educators, sponsors, and audiences, we make the arts accessible, engaging, and enriching for people of all ages.
Artists In Residence
Our Artist in Residence program brings professional performers into local classrooms, giving thousands of students inspiring, hands-on arts experiences through music, dance, theater, and more.
Music At The Star
Music at the Star is our free summer concert series at the Alliant Amphitheatre outside the Dubuque Star Brewery complex. Families and friends gather on Sunday evenings to enjoy live music and a relaxed community atmosphere.
Special Events
Throughout the year, we host special events that showcase unique performers and creative experiences. These one-time programs offer fresh opportunities for the community to connect and enjoy the arts.
